Prep Sophomores Teach Biology for Foothills' 8th Grade Outdoor SchoolMendocino Christian Camp was the base for Foothills Elementary's 8th grade outdoor school. Tom Amato and Prep principal and science teacher, Larry Hiday, assisted by two biology students, Hannah Sacro and Steven Grove, supported the school by planning and directing activities for two of the five-day trip. The outdoor school curriculum included making a dichotomous key for wildflowers, dissecting squid, and the all-time favorite--tidepooling.
