Duncan
Biology
I was born and raised in Michigan received my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a Chemistry minor (Emphasis in Secondary Education) from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. At that time did not pursue a job in education but rather traveled to Loma Linda University and received my Ph. D. in from the Anatomy Department. Since that time I have taught at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, University of Delaware, and currently at Pacific Union College in the biology department. Thus, currently I teach: Biology for the sophomores at Prep; and Human Anatomy, Cell and Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Advanced Human Anatomy with cadaver dissection, and Medical Terminology for the college. Outside of the classroom I enjoy most things related to the out of doors, hiking, biking, gardening, and remaining active and healthy. I also enjoy the martial arts and have studied Tae Kwon Do and am currently doing Jujitsu for exercise. There you have it; not incredibly funny, entertaining or long. Me in a nut shell. Hmm, what do you find in a nut shell? People do not need to know this before coming to Prep or a parent-teacher conference.
